Copper Viper’s music draws inspiration from the British folk and American country / bluegrass traditions, marrying haunting melodies and intricate vocal harmonies with searing instrumental passages to create a stylistic blend that is at both familiar and unique. They are strongly influenced by old time / Appalachian and bluegrass music although most of their material is original and sung in their own voice.
Copper Viper are prolific songwriter and guitarist Robin Joel Sangster, fiddle/mandolin player Duncan Menzies and banjo picker Dana Immanuel . On stage they bring musical virtuosity, brilliant harmonies and a lot of fun. Since they first played The Sound Lounge as an unknown support, Copper Viper they have toured extensively in the UK, Europe and Canada.
